Car Soccer!!
2 teams of 3 cars
1 red team Consisting of Tim Went, Chris Ditmar & Angelo Halacas
1 blue team Consisting of Anthony McMillan, Zack Tyson, Melissa McMillan
Raffle tickets will be handed out to the crowd before interval Half Red half blue tickets (numbered)
Winning teams coloured tickets will be drawn and the person in the crowd with the winning number will receive a $50 Autopro Gift voucher.
4 track crew will be needed as lines man, incase the ball exits the playing field. Plus infield commentator to double up as the referee.
The Referee has the authority to hand out a yellow or red card to any player for rough conduct. 1 Yellow card = Warning 2 Yellow cards = 30 sec side line Red Card = 60 sec side line (Race communicators could also be used for the drivers)
Team captains (Tim Went Red Team) & (Anthony McMillan Blue Team) will toss a coin to see who kicks off at the start of the game.
Game runs for the period of track maintenance, or until the Referee calls the game (a one minute warning will be given to the teams). In the instance of a draw a penalty shootout will decide the winning team, teams shall elect there strongest player for the shoot out, each player has 2 shots on goal from the penalty line.
The Winning team is carried over to the next match (another Speedway meeting) where they will face there next opponents, ie: The Yellow Team.
We must not forget the Main event.
SA Wingless Sprints converge on Mildura Saturday for the 2nd round of the Southern Shootout Series. Round 1 winner Mason Merritt, is looking to continue his winning way .A stumbling block could be newly crowned SA titleholder Todd Wigzell. Local Mildura drivers Anthony McMillan & Darren Burgess are sitting 4th & 5th in the series points and will be looking to improve the standing.
Large fields of Modified Production Sedans & Street Stocks will make up the program.
An add attraction during interval will be a soccer match between 2 teams of 3 cars Plus prizes for spectators.
Gates open 5pm Racing Starts 7pm Full catering at track. Adults $15 Aged Pensioners $12 Children 12 –16 $10 under 12 free.
