Mark Lincoln reduces track record by .5 sec at Mildura.

NSW 1 Mark Lincoln reduced the track record at The Edge Hotel Motel Timmis Speedway to 16.4 sec for AMCA Nationals.
The rain shortened meeting was a great tryout for the new track surface. The final for the AMCAs had to be cancelled due the rain setting in after threatening all night. Each of the competitors competed 3 heats. Mark Lincoln finished with highest points; only 2 points in front of David Hartman then followed Steve Letts a further 3 points behind.
The 6 lap dash results as follows 1 NSW 1 Mark Lincoln, 2 S 15 David Hartman, 3 S24 Michael Ffrench, 4 S19 Steve Letts 5 S4 Cory Fox & 6 Vic 24 Darren McCarthy.
Heat winners as follows Heat 1a Vic43 Jason Lloyd, 1b S4 Cory Fox ,2a NSW1 Mark Lincoln ,2b Vic 24 Darren McCarthy, 3a S19 Steve Letts 3b S41 Brian Chadwick.

The Crash & Bash Drivers had a great night with V961 Lenny Bates1st in Final, 2nd V17 Allen Trebble ,3rd V1 Paul Rodan ,4th V43 Shannon Mair & 5th V690 Finlay Mcdonald.

A demonstration put on by the SA Late Model Sedans showed they could make full of use of the track and will be awesome on the 30th January.

The night was completed with a display of Old Time Heavy Weight Hot Rods.

The next meeting will be on the 2nd January with a round of the Fire Service Plus Sprintcar All Star Series.
